No install snippet on purpose. A working MCP config is a command, its arguments and an environment block — the last two are where API keys live, so this catalogue never stores them and cannot publish them. Follow the link above for the authors' own instructions.
BioMCP replaces the usual routine of jumping between database sites, auth schemes, and API docs with one command surface for researchers, clinicians, and agents. BioMCP includes local study analytics for downloaded cBioPortal datasets, supporting query, cohort, survival, compare, and co-occurrence workflows. BioMCP is available as a binary install via curl or as a Python package via PyPI.
BioMCP can be used with Claude Desktop, Cursor, and other MCP clients via an MCP configuration. BioMCP is MIT-licensed. Most BioMCP commands work without credentials, but optional API keys improve rate limits for several upstream providers.
