A playbook holds everything an agent needs — persona, skills, MCP servers, project instructions, and memory — as one source of truth that belongs to you rather than to any single vendor. The same configuration deploys to multiple AI platforms using their expected file layouts. Secrets are injected server-side so they never reach an agent's context or your disk.
Skills can be exported in formats such as Anthropic skill format, OpenAPI for GPTs, or other formats. AgentPlaybooks is open source and self-hostable.
