The Drive AI MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT, and other MCP clients find, read, and reorganize files across multiple cloud storage services. Every file change is previewed, requires user confirmation, and can be undone. The server supports Google Drive, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Dropbox in a single folder tree.
Installation on Claude Desktop is done by pasting the server URL into the Connectors settings. A CLI client is available via npx @thedriveai/cli for command-line access. An agent without a browser or an account can sign itself up and provide a claim link for the user.
Connected drives require the Max plan or any Team plan, while workspace files work on every plan. Changes needing agreement are parked for the person to decide in The Drive AI with a notification.
