SkillMD is a free, open registry of AI agent skills that can be searched, saved, and installed for use across Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and 60+ other agents. Skills are distributed as SKILL.md files, an open format with YAML frontmatter and Markdown instructions, which work across multiple agents. SkillMD allows anyone to publish skills, but the verified badge is reserved for vetted first-party publishers like Anthropic, Google, Microsoft, and Hugging Face.
