Netmon provides an MCP server on its network monitoring appliance, enabling AI assistants to query monitored data. The server allows assistants to read devices, interfaces, alerts, syslog, Windows event logs, Suricata IDS events, NetFlow records, and packet captures. All thirty-six tools are read-only and cannot alter any monitored host.
The MCP server is included with Netmon version 7.0.20 or newer at no extra license cost. Tokens can be revoked at any time, and the assistant loses access within a minute.
