The server MCP is free and open source (MIT), with the only cost being the consumption of the SignDocs API according to the user's plan. This MCP server exposes 24 tools, allowing Claude to understand requests like 'create a signing session' and execute them via the same REST API that powers the SignDocs app. To connect via claude.ai (web), users add a custom connector by pasting the endpoint https://mcp.signdocs.com.br/mcp and leaving OAuth fields blank, as OAuth fields are intentionally empty for the Claude to self-register.
For individuals, access is via the same account as the app, with no credentials, and documents come from the user's existing quota. Actions with legal effect or that consume quota (such as creating/cancelling a session or verifying a document) are marked as sensitive, so compatible clients request human confirmation before executing. The server supports three signature types: by clicking, by clicking plus a one-time code by email, or with a digital certificate ICP-Brasil A1/A3.
To install in Claude Code, one command is enough for login via browser, or users can install the plugin by running the marketplace add command, with the plugin using the hosted endpoint so nothing runs locally. When asked to send a PDF for signature, Claude provides a link where the user drags the PDF, which goes directly to SignDocs and does not pass through the chat.
