The MCP server connects AI assistants that support MCP to a user's portal, allowing users to ask questions and receive answers directly. Users set limits on what the assistant can access, and the assistant respects those limits. The ability to make changes is a separate permission that is initially turned off, allowing read-only use first.
The assistant operates under the same permissions as the user's role within the portal. All connections are visible in the dashboard, and users can revoke any connection to stop it immediately. The server works with Claude and any other assistant or MCP client that supports remote MCP servers and OAuth sign-in.
Users select which portals the assistant can use, and can change that selection at any time.
