Ledgy connects to AI assistants via a native MCP server, letting you log and query expenses in plain English. Setup takes about a minute and uses OAuth sign-in, so your password is never shared with the AI assistant. You can connect Ledgy to ChatGPT, Claude, and Cursor, among other MCP-compatible clients.
The MCP server provides over 30 tools across transactions, accounts, budgets, and more. Ledgy supports cross-account transfers, including cross-currency with live ECB rates. The assistant only sees data your question needs; Ledgy does not push your full ledger to Anthropic or OpenAI.
You can disconnect Ledgy anytime by removing the connector in your client's settings. Ledgy is now called Manilo and has moved to manilo.app.
