MkAgent is an open-source, local-first AI agent workspace. It supports running durable sessions from desktop app, WebUI, and CLI. Desktop, WebUI, and CLI share the same authenticated RPC, session history, skills, permissions, and local files.
It can connect to ChatGPT Plus, Claude Pro/Max, provider API keys, compatible endpoints, and local Ollama models. Data and credentials are stored locally, with credentials managed by the operating system. MkAgent intentionally excludes certain features like the Claude Agent SDK, Copilot, generic MCP Sources, and collaboration features.
