kmsg is an unofficial KakaoTalk CLI and native MCP server for macOS. It operates via macOS Accessibility API. The same commands work in the terminal, in scripts, and through MCP clients.
It retrieves a reusable chat_id for targeting specific conversations. It reads recent messages to provide context for replies. It sends messages through the actual KakaoTalk UI and supports dry-run validation.
Output is structured: JSON and text go to stdout, AX diagnostics to stderr.
