It uses TradingView scanner data and Yahoo Finance without requiring the TradingView desktop app or an account.</p>\n<h2>What it does</h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Technical analysis and multi-timeframe alignment</li>\n<li>Exchange-wide gainers, losers, squeeze, candle, and volume scans</li>\n<li>Futures overviews, category snapshots, and overnight movers</li>\n<li>Regular and extended-hours quotes</li>\n<li>US options chains and volume/OI unusual-activity scans (no greeks)</li>\n<li>Nine-strategy and walk-forward backtests</li>\n<li>Global market and Bitcoin snapshots</li>\n<li>Optional Marketaux-powered news and sentiment</li>\n</ul>\n<p>All 39 bundled MCP tools are annotated read-only. The skill never places trades or changes an account.</p>\n<h2>When to choose the desktop reader instead</h2>\n<p>Use <a href=\"../tradingview-reader/\"><code>tradingview-reader</code></a> for per-strike greeks, detailed IV skew, account watchlists and alerts, TradingView news, chart state, or screenshots. Subsequent starts use the local <code>uv</code> cache.</p>\n<h2>Upstream pin</h2>\n<p>The plugin pins an immutable upstream Git SHA in <a href=\"../../.mcp.json\"><code>../../.mcp.json</code></a>.
