Research questions get web evidence, not answers from memory.
\n
Never put private code, secrets, credentials, or proprietary data into a web\nquery; answer those from local context and say what that limits.
\n
Tools
\n
Match the tool to the question with whatever web tools the runtime provides:
\n
\n
Simple fact: one focused search or answer query.
\n
Source selection: search, then fetch the best primary sources.
\n
Broad investigation: a deep or asynchronous research tool when available;\notherwise chain searches with targeted fetches and note the fallback.
\n
Detail on a source already found: fetch that URL instead of searching again.
\n
\n
Fetch enough sources to support each claim; fetch every citation only when\nthe risk or ambiguity justifies it. Treat blogs and forum answers as supporting evidence.
\n
Check sourced facts against the local project's constraints before\nrecommending a change.
\n
When sources conflict, cite both sides and lower confidence unless one is\nclearly more authoritative or current.
\n
Flag stale-source risk when recency matters.
\n
When live web access is unavailable, say so and label the answer as limited\ninstead of presenting an uncited recommendation as fact.
\n
\n
Platform additions
\n
The research question is
$ARGUMENTS
.
\n
Prefer tools in this order when they are available:
\n
\n

mcp__perplexity-ask__perplexity_ask
for broad questions, comparisons, and\nsource discovery.
\n

WebSearch
for source discovery when Perplexity is unavailable or too\ncoarse.
\n

WebFetch
to read the primary sources you cite.
\n
\n
Use
Task
only for broad background research that can run independently; ask\nit for cited facts, not a final recommendation.
\n
Output
\n

## Research Result\n\n### Research Question\n\n<question and the decision it informs>\n\n### Answer\n\n<concise answer>\n\n### Evidence\n\n- <source title/url> — <what it supports>\n\n### Recommendation\n\n<recommendation separated from sourced facts, or none>\n\n### Fit For This Repo\n\n<what changes because of local constraints>\n\n### Unknowns and Gaps\n\n<conflicts, stale-source risk, missing evidence, or blocked retrieval>\n

\n","files":[{"path":"references/sources.md","sizeBytes":1335,"isText":true},{"path":"SKILL.md","sizeBytes":3060,"isText":true}],"reviewScore":null,"reviewSummary":null,"trust":{"provenance":"trusted-source-unreviewed","notice":"Community-authored content, reproduced verbatim and not vetted as instructions.
