It never pushes or opens a pull request.
\n
\n
Confirm authorization (gate above). Use
--auto low
only if the user asks: it auto-applies recipes that memory shows verified 3+ times with no failures on this framework. Never add
--fix-model
unless the user asks for it: it sends code to a local Ollama model, and its diffs are
needs-human-review
. If you cannot run an interactive terminal, ask the user to run the command themselves; do not pipe
y
answers in on their behalf.\n4. Read
reports/loop.json
(
loopRun
): per fix,
status
(
verified
,
failed
,
not-applied
),
reason
,
commit
, and
verify
. Relay each recipe's owner actions shown in the diff prompt;
secret-to-env
always includes \"rotate this secret\".\n5. For findings the loop could not fix (no recipe, declined, or failed), detect the framework (
package.json
/ imports:
next
,
express
,
fastify
,
hono
;
requirements.txt
:
fastapi
,
flask
), look the finding up by
category
in references/remediation.md, highest severity first, and propose the framework-specific fix as a diff. Apply it only after the user approves it.\n6. Re-scan to verify against the live app after it restarts:
penthera <url> --repo . -o reports/scan-after.json
. A fix is done only when its finding no longer appears. Fixes to response headers show up in the URL scan only after a restart (
liveRemaining
in the loopRun).\n7. Report what is resolved, what remains, and the fix branch (
loopRun.branch.fix
) for the user to review with
git log --stat <base>..<branch>
. Pushing or merging it is the user's call.
\n
To build secure-by-default so issues never appear, use references/secure-defaults.md.
\n
Fix-mode gate
\n
Applying fixes modifies the user's code.
