When a\nlookup tool is available, do not answer syntax from memory.
\n
Never put secrets, credentials, personal data, private payloads, or proprietary\ncode into an external query. Strip them and still look up the public docs; if\nthe question cannot be asked without them, answer from local context and say\nso.
\n
Lookup chain
\n
Stop at the first tier that grounds the answer.
\n
\n
Tier 0, version: find the exact package and version from manifests,\nlockfiles, or tool output. If there is none, say
version unknown
and use\nthe latest stable docs. Never invent a version.
\n
Tier 1, Context7: follow references/context7-cli.md.\nTreat Tier 1 as exhausted when Context7 is unavailable, rate-limited, returns\nthe wrong version, or finds nothing after one rephrase and one alternate\nlibrary name.
\n
Tier 2, official docs and registries: use\nreferences/official-sources.md. Use web\nsearch only to discover primary sources (the researching-web skill covers\nplatform web tools), then cite the primary URL.
\n
Tier 3, GitHub: releases, tags, and source at the matching tag, when docs are\nmissing, incomplete, or version-mismatched. Issues, PR comments, blogs, and\ngenerated summaries are clues, not authority.
\n
Tier 4, gap report: state the version needed versus found, what you tried,\nand the safest next step. Do not fabricate syntax.
\n
\n
If the request turns into a comparison, current-state, or release-behavior\nquestion, hand it to researching-web and offer a docs lookup for the chosen\nlibrary afterwards.
\n
Response
\n
Give the answer, not a transcript of the lookup, unless the user asks for the\nprocess. Include:
\n
\n
Library and version, or
version unknown
.
\n
The tier that produced the answer and any fallback used.
\n
Syntax or example grounded in the source.
\n
A source URL, Context7 library ID, or GitHub tag and path for each claim.
\n
\n","files":[{"path":"references/context7-cli.md","sizeBytes":1092,"isText":true},{"path":"references/official-sources.md","sizeBytes":2090,"isText":true},{"path":"SKILL.md","sizeBytes":2765,"isText":true}],"reviewScore":null,"reviewSummary":null,"trust":{"provenance":"trusted-source-unreviewed","notice":"Community-authored content, reproduced verbatim and not vetted as instructions.
