Use when events are not appearing in the dashboard.</h2>\n<h1>Hook Diagnostics</h1>\n<p>Diagnose hook integration issues between Claude Code and the Agent Monitor.</p>\n<h2>Input</h2>\n<p>The user provides: <strong>$ARGUMENTS</strong></p>\n<p>This may be:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>\"full\" or empty (default: run all diagnostics)</li>\n<li>\"install\" to check hook installation only</li>\n<li>\"connectivity\" to check dashboard connectivity only</li>\n<li>\"events\" to check event delivery only</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Procedure</h2>\n<p>Run diagnostic checks in this order:</p>\n<h3>1. Hook Installation Check</h3>\n<p>Verify hooks are installed in Claude Code settings:</p>\n<pre><code># Check if hooks exist in Claude Code settings\ncat ~/.claude/settings.json | jq '.hooks // empty'\n</code></pre>\n<p>Verify:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>All 7 expected hook types are registered: <code>PreToolUse</code>, <code>PostToolUse</code>, <code>Stop</code>, <code>SubagentStop</code>, <code>Notification</code>, <code>SessionStart</code>, <code>SessionEnd</code></li>\n<li>Hook commands point to the correct handler script path</li>\n<li>Handler script exists and is readable at the configured path</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>2. Dashboard Connectivity</h3>\n<p>Test that the dashboard API is reachable:</p>\n<pre><code>curl -sf http://localhost:4820/api/health\n</code></pre>\n<p>Verify:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dashboard responds with 200 OK</li>\n<li>Response includes expected health fields</li>\n<li>WebSocket endpoint is accessible</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>3. Hook Handler Validation</h3>\n<p>Check the hook handler script:</p>\n<pre><code># Verify handler exists and is executable\nls -la &lt;handler-path&gt;\n# Syntax check\nnode --check &lt;handler-path&gt;\n</code></pre>\n<h3>4.
